- 06/02/2012: Jorge Hamann-Borrero gives a talk about our work on NdFe3(BO3)4 at the ESRF Users' Meeting.
- 26/01/2012: Tobias Ritschel and Jochen Geck present our work on 1T-TaS2 during the HASYLB Users' Meeting.
- 05/01/2012: Our ARPES study on the bilayer manganites is published in Physical Review Letters!
- 12/12/2011: Jochen Geck visits the Centro Atomico in Bariloche, Argentina, to work on our SOFC and paleoclimotology projects.
- 01/11/2011: Valentina Bisogni joined the "Spin physics, spin chemistry and spin technologogy" conference in Kazan, Russia. She gave a talk with the title "Resonant inelastic x-ray scattering: a new approach for investigating spin excitations".
- 25/09/2011: Mora Soldati and Frederico Napolitano from the Centro Atomico in Bariloche, Argentina, are visiting our group. They will be working on our fuel cell project.
- 15/09/2011: Valentina Bisogni and Roberto Kraus presented our latest RIXS results at the SLS users meeting.
- 01/09/2011: Jorge Hamann-Borrero returned from stay with George Sawatzky at UBC in Vancouver.
- 01/09/2011: Tobias Ritschel joined our group as PhD student! He will work within the Graduiertenkolleg "Itinerant magnetism and superconductivity in intermetallic compounds".
- 27/08/2011: Valentina Bisogni received the prestigious DAAD-Leibniz fellowship. Congratulations, Valentina!
- 25/07/2011: Our work on YMn2O5 was published in Physical Review Letters and posted as a highlight on the web pages of the Brookhaven National Laboratory and the IFW Dresden.
