Intermetallics

Three working groups of the IFW in cooperation with the TU Dresden are dealing with investigations on the field of:

• crystal growth by zone floating, levitation melting, Bridgman, flux growth, CTR (gaseous phase)
  
• crystal growth as a technological and scientific chain
• crystal growth of reactive high melting intermetallic compounds
• control of the interface
