Thermal behavior of undercooled melts

Comparing thermal behavior on different melt undercooling with the phase diagram data the solidification pathway of the system can be tracked. Additionally, high time-resolution information from photodiode provides a possibility to "catch" fast phase transformations which could proceed at rapid solidification.
