Electrodeposition of magnetic alloys and nanostructures
Our research focusses on the electrochemical preparation of alloys with enhanced magnetic properties. We develop suitable electrolyte systems and investigate the influence of deposition conditions on alloy composition, structure and microstructure. The fundamental understanding of the electrode processes and alloy formation mechanisms is essential for tailoring the magnetic properties.
