Coil winding

The conductor materials are insulated and wound to pulsed magnets with optimally placed internal reinforcements. For this purpose we use our integrated coil winding machine which is located at HLD, Research-Center Rossendorf (FZR).

The images show details of the machine from the time it was under construction. The winding machine was built by Gunter Seibold Maschinenbau GmbH (H.F. Stollberg) From top to bottom: tailstock - braider - tentering gear and insulator - back view of brake - caterpillar-brake - pay-off reel.
