1st NESPA Training Course on Basic Superconducting Measurement Techniques (Vienna)
Theoretical and practical aspects of the different measurement techniques to characterize basic superconducting properties will be trained using thin film samples, bulk material and wires prepared within NESPA. The focus will be on inductive and resistive techniques to measure the superconducting critical temperature Tc, as well as the temperature and magnetic field dependent critical current density Jc. Advanced magnetization measurement techniques like SQUID magnetometry and spatially resolved Hall probe scanning will complete this physics based training course. This training course is organized by Prof. Weber and will take place in Vienna from March 31st to April 4th.
