Guided tours

We offer guided labtours for announced visiting groups. Please contact the persons mentioned below for making an appointment.
The labtour programs are arranged individually according to special interests of the visitors. Usually the guided labtours take about two hours. After a short introduction into our research topics we visit 3 or 4 laoratories where the scientists present and explain their work.
These guided labtours are also suited for school classes complementary to physics and chemistry lessons. For these labtours we can offer the following topics:

  • Transmission electron microscopy
  • new modifications of carbon
  • Solid state analysis
  • Single crystal growth
  • Chemical elements: the range of metals
