Internal Bodies

Executive Board

The Executive Board is charged with the conduct and management of the affairs of the Institute. It consists of the Scientific Director and spokesman, Prof. Dr. Ludwig Schultz and the Administrative Director, Dr. h.c. Dipl.-Finw. Rolf Pfrengle.

Board of Directors

The Board of Directors consists of the Executive Board and of the directors of the IFW's Institutes. The Board of Directors is headed by the Scientific Director.

Scientific-Technical Council

The Scientific-Technical Council consists of the directors of the IFW's Institutes, the head of the Research Technology Department and the same number of elected representatives of the scientific-technical staff. The head of the Scientific-Technical Council is Dr. Hagen Schmidt.

Labour Council

This board acts as a representative of the people employed within the institute. Head is Marek Ulbrich.
