Welcome to my webpage on the IFW website. I am currently doing my PhD in the electron spin resonance (ESR) group led by Dr. Kataev. There, I am exploring fundamental magnetic properties and spin dynamics, chiefly of frustrated magnetic systems. Yes, frustrated. ;-) Interesting phenomena may occur, such as spin liquids, exotic magnetic phases and suppression of conventional magnetism, which are related to a degeneracy of the ground state due to the frustration (see
below for more information).
I studied Physics (Bachelor and Master) at the TU Dresden, a university renown for its strong scientific departments and offering a wide variety of both broadcast and in-depth Physics lectures such as Biophysics, Advanced Quantum Mechanics and Computational Physics. Already starting with the study of spin dynamics in my Master, I have now specialized in this technique and gained profound understanding in the area of Solid State Physics.
Besides that, I love and make music, am interested in many things such as Philosophy, Psychology and Politics, and like languages and linguistics.
Below, you can find a list of my publications and general and specific information about my research topic and related matter.
