We developed a micro strain engineering platform (see sketch below).

Working principle: electric bias on the piezoelectric cantilevers (PMN-PT)--> physical deformation-->strain

 

Semiconductor quantum dots, color center in diamond, 2D materials...yes, anything! Dare they stand on top of the device, they will be stretched! as much as needed!!!
