Condensed Matter Summer School 2015

The first “Condensed Matter Summer School” – a summer school organized by PhD students for PhD students - will take place from July 27 to July 29 in Prague (Czech Republic) in the Dorint Hotel “Don Giovanni”.
The "Condensed Matter Summer School" aims to establish itself as a yearly event, focusing on the research subjects of each group.
This year’s topic is "Magnetism at the Nanoscale". For this, we have acquired speakers from IFW Dresden, TU Dresden and also from external institutions. After some introductory lectures the talks will focus on subjects like spintronics, molecular magnets, spin liquids, skyrmions etc.
