Broadband magneto-electrical characterization

The broadband probe stations is used for rapid contacting and direct on-chip characterization of magnetic and nonmagnetic structures. Devices are equipped with various types of probes and three measurement units: 1) DC unit comprises of standard low frequency multimeters and current sources based on Keithley devices; 2) Impedance analyzer Agilent 4294, which covers frequency range from 40 Hz to 110 MHz; and 3) 2 port network analyzer Agilent ENA-E5071C, this device covers 300 kHz to 20 GHz frequency range. One of the two probe stations is equipped with a magnet and a Peltier-Element enabling though characterization of structures in the field -1500 to 1500 Oe at various temperatures from -15 degC up to 80 degC.
