Seminar of the SPP 1386

The seminar will take place between June 20th and 22nd, 2016, in the JUFA Jülich, Germany.

This seminar is intended to summarize the most important results of the different project teams obtained within the SPP 1386. It will further provide the platform to develop the strategic topics identified within the brainstorming meeting held this January in Wien.

Some of potentially interesting future topics were identified:

  • Mechanism of transport across interfaces
  • Stability of materials (diffusion, segregation, interfaces)
  • Intrinsic properties vs. real structure influence
  • non-critical elements
  • scalability of synthesis procedures
  • from material to device
  • novel modules concepts

If possible, please focus your contribution towards these topics. International speakers are currently being invited to make this seminar a stimulating meeting for all of us!

Thank you to all those who have registered to attend the workshop. Online registration is now closed. If you have not already done so, please send an email to s.fleischer(@t)

The final program is now available online. We thank everyone for their excellent contributions.
