Deformation mechanisms in fcc metals

Copper alloys are investigated as exemplarily fundamental fcc system to study deformation mechanisms. Although there are various applications of heavily deformed fcc materials (such as highly strengthened Cu based alloys, or cube textured Ni based materials and many more) we put the focus in this area on fundamental aspects.
