Exhibition “50 Inventions Bestowed by Ukraine to the World”

Exhibition within the framework of the annual meeting of the German-Ukrainian Academic Society

Professional artists and illustrators of the Direct 96 creative group followed the footsteps of Ukrainian inventors, carefully studying their work. The results paved the way to this exhibition, which was kindly provided by the Ukraine Crisis Media Center. The Embassy of Ukraine in the Federal Republic of Germany funded the translation and publishing of the accompanying book (German/ Ukrainian), and sponsors this exhibition.

Guided Labtours

You are interested in visiting our Institute? We are happy to arrange individually labtour programs according to your special interests. The maximum group size is 10 participants. Usually guided labtours take about two hours. After a short introduction into our research topics we visit 3 or 4 laboratories where the scientists present and explain their work.
These guided labtours are also suited for high school classes complementary to physics and chemistry lessons.

Dresden Long Night of Sciences

The best way to look behind the scenes and to gain deeper insights into our research is to visit the IFW during the Dresden Long Night of Sciences. It takes place every summer shortly bevor school holydays. The next Dresden Long Night of Sciences takes place on July 14, 2019. More information.
