The new Scientific Director, together with the current Administrative Director jointly constitute the Executive Board of IFW Dresden and bear responsibility for the institute as a whole.

SCIENTIFIC POSITIONS

The Institute of Materials Chemistry, within the Department of Metal Physics at IFW Dresden, has an opening for a position as Scientist (m/f/div) at 80% of regular working hours, expected to begin on November 1, 2026. As part of the project collaboration, it is possible to increase the working hours by 20% at the project partner’s site. The appointment is subject to project approval and is initially limited to one year; an extension of the project is being sought.
