TECHNICAL POSITIONS

The Institute for Metallic Materials (IMW) is seeking to fill the position of a laboratory technician (m/f/div) specializing in powder metallography, thermoelectric module fabrication, and measurement technology, starting in January 2027. The position involves a 40-hour workweek (part-time is possible by arrangement) and is initially a fixed-term position for 3 years.

SCIENTIFIC POSITIONS

Within the Institute for Materials Chemistry, in the Department of Metal Physics at IFW Dresden, a position as Research Associate (m/f/div) is to be filled from 1 November 2026 (expected), at 80% of standard working hours. Within the framework of project collaboration, an increase in working hours by 20% is possible at the project partner's site. The appointment is subject to project approval and is initially limited to one year, with an extension of the project being sought.
