Exhibition RETHINKING PHYSICS at IFW Dresden

Women in Quantum Physics: Perspectives, Achievements and Goals

Since February 1, the exhibition RETHINKING PHYSICShas been on view in the atrium of the Leibniz Institute for Solid State and Materials Research - IFW Dresden.

This travelling exhibition was initiated by the Cluster of Excellence ctd.qmat – Complexity, Topology and Dynamics in Quantum Matter at the Universities of Würzburg and Dresden on the occasion of the United Nations International Year of Quantum Science and Technology.
The exhibition features portraits of established and early-career female researchers who share their enthusiasm and fascination for scientific work, as well as their achievements and goals.

The exhibition is now being shown at IFW Dresden for the last time and can be seen until 10 March. In connection with International Women’s Day, the exhibition will close with a finissage and an IFW colloquium on 10 March.

External visitors can visit the exhibition after individual registration at the reception of IFW Dresden.
