The talent development program JUNIORDOKTOR gives young people from 3rd to 12th grade a fascinating insight into research, engineering, politics and culture in Dresden. The whole range of scientific work is presented in a wide variety of events. Over the period of a school year, JUNIORDOKTOR participants visit various workshops, laboratories, lecture halls and exhibitions to explore the world of science and research. The program starts in November and is free for all school students.

The IFW Dresden has been involved in this important talent development program of the city of Dresden for many years. This year, we have the pleasure of opening the 17th season with the “Magic Magnets” event on November 13.
