On August 21, 2023,  Friedrich Striggow from the Micro- and Nanobiomedical Engineering group  successfully defended his PhD thesis "Development of sperm-driven micromotors toward applications in assisted reproduction" at the TU Berlin with a "summa cum laude" rating.
