Die Gruppe Messtechnik und Analytik bietet Dienstleistungskompetenzen in verschiedenen analytischen und präparativen Disziplinen für meist chemische Ansätze. Von Dienstleistungsmessungen bis hin zur Methodenentwicklung für Forschungsprojekte wird die typische analytische Plattformausstattung intensiv betreut, um die höchste Ansprüche an die Qualität der jeweiligen Ergebnisse zu gewährleisten. Neben Elementanalysen gehören auch thermische Analysen zum Leistungsportfolio. Um eine breitere Probencharakterisierung zu ermöglichen, decken mikroskopische, spektroskopische und Diffraktions-Methoden die erweiterten Anforderungen des Instituts für Materialchemie ab. Zur Abrundung des Portfolios werden die Analyse poröser Materialien und Dichtemessungen angeboten. Zusammen mit den analytischen Techniken stehen verschiedene Präparationsmethoden von Sol-Gel- über Sprüh- und Gefriertrocknung bis hin zur Trocknung mit überkritischem CO2 zur Verfügung.
